All Hail the New Copilot

Copilot
Have you ever wondered how much easier your life could be if you had a personal assistant?

An assistant that could help you with everything from writing code to creating poems, or even generating graphic art?

Here's a Cool Tip.  Check out the newly renamed Copilot, formerly known as Bing Chat.

Microsoft is going all-in on AI, and this new site provides AI chat in addition to the existing Bing Chat.

Here's how to use it.
  • Navigate to copilot.microsoft.com.
  • Type your prompt in the chatbox.
  • Whether you need help with writing, coding, or creating art, just ask!
  • Press Enter.
Copilot is a powerful tool that can save you time and inspire creativity.

Copilot can generate content, assist with writing, and even create graphic art.

Microsoft Copilot

fig. 1 - The Newly Renamed Copilot

Here are two examples:
  • Perhaps you’re a songwriter experiencing writer’s block. You could ask Copilot, “Can you help me write a song about friendship?” Copilot could then generate lyrics for you, potentially sparking your creativity and helping you overcome your writer’s block.
  • Or if you’re a coder and need help with a Python script, you can ask Copilot. Or if you’re an artist looking for inspiration, Copilot can generate a unique piece of graphic art based on your prompt.

However, it’s important to remember that it’s an AI, and while it’s intelligent, it doesn’t replace human creativity and intuition.

Copilot is designed to be user-friendly and doesn’t require any complex configuration.

And with this new name and new website, you can access Copilot outside of the Bing search engine site.

You can simply start using it right away!

Use AI to Settle the Superman vs. Batman Debate

Ever wondered who would win in a fight between Superman and Batman?

Have you ever wished you could settle this age-old debate once and for all?

Here's a Cool Tip:  Let AI, Artificial Intelligence, help answer this question.

Here's how to do it:

  • Start by selecting the AI you want to use, for example, ChatGPT, Google Bard or  Microsoft Bing.
  • Formulate your question as an AI prompt. For example, "Superman vs. Batman. Who wins a fight?".
  • Ask your question to one or more AIs.
  • Once you have responses from all AIs, analyze them to see which superhero they think would win in a fight.
S vs B
fig. 1 - Who Would Win?

Here's a Summary of the three big AIs to this question:

ChatGPT

In the comics, the two have fought multiple times, and the outcomes vary depending on the context. For instance, in Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns," an older Batman dons a power suit and utilizes Kryptonite to even the odds against Superman. In other stories, Superman's sheer power and speed are just too much for Batman.

So, who would win depends largely on the circumstances of the fight and the interpretation of the characters at that specific time.

Google Bard

So, who would win in a fight between Superman and Batman? It really depends on the circumstances. If the fight is fair and square, Superman would almost certainly win. But if Batman has time to prepare, he could potentially find a way to defeat Superman.

Microsoft Bing

In terms of who would win in a fight, it ultimately depends on the circumstances and the strategies employed by each character. Batman’s resourcefulness, combat skills, and access to Kryptonite could potentially give him an edge over Superman. However, Superman’s superhuman strength and durability make him a formidable opponent.

AIs are not infallible and their responses are based on the information they have been trained on.

They do not have personal opinions or biases.

So what other matchups should you check out?

  • Iron Man vs. Batman
  • Godzilla vs. King Kong
  • Avengers vs. Justice League
  • Lassie vs. Scooby Doo

So, are you ready to use artificial intelligence to settle the debate?

Let us know!

Enjoy!

Bing Chat AI now available on Chrome

Bing Chat
Have you ever wanted to use Bing Chat AI but didn’t want to switch to using Microsoft's Edge browser?

Or on a mobile device, you would have to use the Bing app?

Here's a Cool Tip:  Bing Chat is now available using Chrome.

Bing Chat is a conversational AI chatbot feature for Bing's search engine.

It launched in February 2023 and allows users to interact with an AI chatbot instead of typing search queries.

Microsoft has recently announced that its AI-powered Bing Chat is now available on other browsers such as Chrome.

This means that you can now use Bing Chat AI on your preferred browser, without having to switch to Microsoft Edge or download a separate app.

Bing Chat has been available in separate Android and iOS mobile apps since late February,

Here's how to use Bing Chat in Chrome:

  • Open Chrome
  • Go to bing.com
  • Click the Chat icon near the top-left of the web page
  • Type out your question or prompt and send it
  • Wait for a response, then respond in turn if desired

This new feature is rolling out to users and platforms over the coming weeks.

While you can use Bing Chat AI on your preferred platform, the best service will be provided on Microsoft Edge.

For instance, Chrome’s Bing supports five messages per conversation versus the 30 in Microsoft Edge.

And Bing in Chrome has a character limit of 2,000, while Edge supports 4,0002.

That's it.
