iPhone Now Responds to Harry Potter Magic!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

The iPhone is a truly magical device.  It combines a phone and a multi-use computer.  And provides light with the built-in flash.

But now it is even more magical since it responds to spells from the magical world of Harry Potter.

Just in time for the 20th anniversary of the Harry Potter movies, users have found that the latest version of iOS 15 and Siri responds to your magical spell commands.

For example, invoke Siri with "Hey Siri" and then say "Lumos" to turn on the built-in flash for light.

To turn the flash off, simply invoke Siri again and say "Nox".

Enjoy!

How Do I Turn on the One-Handed Keyboard for iPhone?

Sometimes it's really, really difficult to type on the iPhone onscreen keyboard.

For some people, the iPhone is just too big.  And for others, it's hard to type while holding something in your hands - perhaps keys or a coffee mug.

But there is a clever solution:  the one-handed keyboard.  Or as others might call it, the "thumb" keyboard.

This keyboard, either left or right-handed, can be turned on to allow you to use just one hand to reach all of the keyboard!

There are two ways to turn the one-handed keyboard:

  1. Open any app that uses the keyboard, such as Mail or Messages
  2. Touch and hold the globe keyboard button
  3. Tap either the right handedleft handed or full keyboard layouts.

You can also use the Settings app to select the keyboard:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap General
  3. Tap Keyboards
  4. Tap One Handed Keyboard
  5. Select the Left, Right, or Off (standard layout) setting

That's it!  Type away with just one hand.
