Here's how to do it.
  1. Make sure you have the latest Google app (for iOS) or Gemini app (for Android). 
  2. Make sure you have the latest Google Maps app (for iOS) and Google Maps (for Android).
  3. Trigger Google Gemini by opening the app.
  4. Enter a prompt like "Navigate to [destination]" or "Take me to [place]."
  5. Gemini will give a route summary, then automatically open Google Maps
  6. Navigation will begin seamlessly.

How to Share Your Location and ETA with Google Maps

Ever felt the frustration of trying to describe your location when you're lost? 

Or the anxiety of making someone wait because you're stuck in traffic and they have no clue where you are? 

What if you could share your exact location and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) with just a tap on your smartphone? 

Here's a Cool Tip.  Use Google Maps.

Here's how to do it.

Sharing Your Location:
  • Open Google Maps 
  • Make sure you're signed in to your Google account.
  • Turn on your location services if it’s not already enabled.
  • Located at the top right corner, tap on your profile picture.
  • Choose Location Sharing.
  • Select New Share
  • Choose how long you want to share your location and whom to share it with.
  • Tap Share to send your location.

Sharing Your ETA:
  • Enter your destination and start the navigation.
  • Tap on '↑': Locate the upwards arrow at the bottom of the screen or the Estimated Time.
  • Choose Share trip progress.
  • Select Contacts.

  • Select a City
  • Read the game instructions.
  • Select Got It.
  • Control the snake by using the arrow keys on your keyboard or by swiping on your mobile device. 
  • The goal is to eat as many food items as possible without hitting yourself or the walls.

So next time you're looking for gas, don't forget to use Google Maps.
  • Open Google Maps
  • Tap Gas under the search bar (or enter Gas or Fuel in the search box).

Let Google Maps Send a Place To Your Device

When you find a place in Google Maps, you can send it to your mobile device for easy access.

To use Send to Device:

- Be signed in to the same Google account on the PC and Google Maps mobile device
-Open Google Maps on your computer.
- Search for a place
- Click the Send to Device link
- Click the device you want to send the place to
- You device will show a notification
- Tap the notification to open Google Maps and display the place location.

Note: Be sure that notifications are set for you iPhone, iPad or Android device.
