There's a Cool Tip to solve this issue:   Microsoft Edge Web Select.

You can use the Microsoft Edge Web Select feature to copy formatted content like headers, pictures, and text. 

Here's how to do it.

  • To use this feature, press Ctrl+Shift+X 
  • Or go to the three dots icon in the upper right-hand corner and select Web select

  • Then click and drag your selection box over the content items you wish to select.

  • Select Copy or press Ctrl+c to copy the selection and continue to paste into an application of your choice like Word, Excel, PowerPoint or OneNote.

How to Stop Microsoft Word from Selecting Entire Words When You Only Want Part of It

Are you tired of Microsoft Word automatically selecting the entire word when you’re trying to select just a part of it? 

Do you find yourself constantly having to delete extra letters or words that you didn’t mean to select? 

If so, here's a Cool Tip:  Change the Selecting Entire Work option.

This change can be very useful when you need to select just a few characters in a word.

Here's how to change the setting for Microsoft Word advanced feature to NOT select “entire word when selecting text”.

  • Open Microsoft Word.
  • Click on the File tab at the top left corner of the screen.
  • Click on Options.
  • In the left menu, click on Advanced.
  • In the Editing options section, uncheck the When selecting, automatically select entire word option.

  • Click OK.

And remember, if you don't need this option, just change it back!

How to Unsubscribe from Emails in Gmail

Here's how to unsubscribe via the web:

  • Go to mail.google.com.
  • Open the email you want to unsubscribe from.
  • Look for the Unsubscribe link near the sender's information.

  • Click on the Unsubscribe link.
  • You'll be taken to a page where you can confirm that you want to unsubscribe.
  • Click on the Unsubscribe button again.

  • When using the mobile Gmail app, open the email and select the three dots in the top corner.  Then select Unsubscribe from the dropdown list.


That's it! 

You'll no longer receive emails from that sender.

It's a quick and easy way to keep your inbox clutter-free.
