The Secret Way to End a Phone Call Without Being Rude

How to Set One Simple Setting Change That Will Make Your Microsoft Word Documents Look Better

Do you find the white space between pages in Microsoft Word distracting? 

Do you wish you could focus on your document without being interrupted by the gray areas? 

Here's a Cool Tip: Change the Setting to hide the white space in Microsoft Word.

When you're working in Print Layout view in Microsoft Word, you may see a gray area between pages.

This is the white space that's not visible when you print the document. 

If you find this white space distracting, you can hide it by changing a setting in Word.

Here's how to do it.

• Open the document that you want to hide the white space in.
• Click the File tab.
• Click Options.
• In the Word Options dialog box, click the Display tab.
• In the Page display options section, uncheck the Show white space between pages in Print Layout view checkbox.
• Click OK.

• The white space between pages will now be hidden.

How to Search Google with Right Click

Google Bard Goes Dark

There are a few reasons why you might want to use Dark Mode in Google Bard.

How to Fill a Shape with a Picture in Microsoft PowerPoint

Here's a Cool Tip: Fill a shape with a picture in Microsoft PowerPoint

Here's how to do it.

• Add a shape to your document by going to the Insert tab and selecting Shapes. Choose the shape you want and click on the slide to add it.

• Select the shape by clicking on it.

• Go to the Shape Format tab that displays, click on Shape Fill in the Shape Styles section of the ribbon, and choose Picture.

• Select the type of picture you want (such as From a File or Online Pictures) and then navigate to the picture you want and insert it.

• The image that you picked will then fill the shape.

• You can adjust how the image is formatted within the shape using two actions: Fill or Fit.

• Click the image within the shape and go to the Picture Format tab that appears.
• Click the arrow below Crop in the Size section of the ribbon and choose either Fill or Fit.
• When you “Fill” a shape with an image, this adjusts the picture size to match the shape’s height or width, whichever is greatest. 
• When you “Fit” a shape with an image, this adjusts the picture size so that both the height and width match the shape.
