1. Update the Alexa app on your phone. 
2. Say “Alexa, check for software updates” on your Echo.
3. In the Alexa app, go to More > Settings and look for Alexa Plus or AI features. Availability may still be rolling out.
4. Enable Alexa Plus if prompted and choose the Echo devices you want to use.
5. Start with a multi-step request
• Try: “Alexa, add milk and fruit to my shopping list and remind me tomorrow morning.”
• Use natural follow-ups. Continue without repeating yourself: “Remove milk and add yogurt instead.”
6. Ask for summaries.  Examples:
• “Summarize my calendar today.”
• “What reminders do I have?”
7. Control smart home in one command
• “Set the living room lights to 40% and start my evening routine.”
8. Quick test: If Alexa understands follow-ups and combines tasks in one conversation, Alexa Plus is active.
