Ever found yourself obsessively refreshing tracking pages, anxiously awaiting your UPS or FedEx package?

What if you could streamline this process?

Here's a Cool Tip.  Use Google to track your package shipments.

Google offers hidden features to make package tracking a breeze.

Here's how to do it.

Automatic Tracking
  1. Gmail Integration: If you receive shipping confirmation emails from UPS or FedEx in your Gmail, Google often automatically recognizes them. Check your Gmail for a tracking box that appears near the top of the email. Clicking it will show you the latest status updates.
  2. Google Search: Simply type your UPS or FedEx tracking number directly into the Google search bar. The current status of your package should appear in a dedicated box at the top of the search results.

Manual Tracking

  1. Google Shipping Notifications: Navigate to your Gmail settings and find the "Package Tracking" section. Toggle it on to enable Google to send you proactive email updates on your packages.
  2. Google Assistant: If you have a Google Assistant-enabled device (like a smart speaker), say, "Hey Google, track my package," followed by your tracking number.

Google simplifies package tracking by consolidating information in one place, eliminating the need to jump between different carrier websites.

Automatic email alerts proactively keep you updated on your package's progress, so you're always in the know.

Plus, it seamlessly integrates with your existing Google account, making it incredibly convenient.

While convenient, Google might not offer the same level of detail as the carrier's own tracking tools.

Tracking your UPS and FedEx packages doesn't have to be a hassle.

With Google's integrated tracking features, you can effortlessly stay informed about your deliveries.

Whether you prefer the convenience of Google Search, the proactivity of email alerts, or the hands-free approach of Google Assistant, Google has you covered.
