OpenAI’s ChatGPT groundbreaking new editing feature promises to revolutionize the way we approach digital art.   

ChatGPT now incorporates DALL-E with editing capabilities.

DALL-E is an artificial intelligence model developed by OpenAI that generates images from textual descriptions. 

The name "DALL-E" is a portmanteau of the artist Salvador Dalí and the Pixar character WALL-E. 

This AI leverages a version of the  ChatGPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) model specifically fine-tuned for generating images based on text inputs.

Here's how to do it.

1. Go to ChatGPT, www.ChatGPT.com.
2. Enter a prompt to generate an image.
3. Click the "Select" icon.
4. Highlight the area you want to change with the circular brush icon.
5. Enter a prompt to edit the image in the side prompt box.
6. Leverage ChatGPTs AI capabilities to enhance your image. For instance, you can generate new elements within the image or modify existing ones.
7. Preview your edited image and make any final adjustments.
8. Once satisfied, click on ‘Save’ to download your edited image.

In this example, I created an original image using the prompt, "Create an image of an older female orange and white tabby cat sitting on a window sill".

I then used the select tool to indicate where I wanted to make a change.

Using the new editing capability, I entered a new prompt to "add a small mouse on the window sill."

Editing images with DALL-E offers several advantages. 

Its AI-powered features allow for highly creative and unique edits that might be challenging to achieve manually. 

The user-friendly interface makes it accessible even for beginners, and the real-time previews help in making quick adjustments.
