The Live Listen feature transforms your iPhone or iPad into a microphone, amplifying surrounding sounds and sending them straight to your AirPods. 

Here's how to do it.

• Wear your AirPods, and make sure they’re connected to your device.
• Open Control Center on your device (swipe down from the top right),
• Tap the Hearing button.

• Tap Live Listen.

• Position your device near the sound source and enjoy clearer conversations, whether at dinner or during presentations.

• If you don’t see the Hearing button, add it to Control Center—go to Settings  > Control Center, then choose Hearing.

This tip is not a replacement for medical hearing aids. 

For significant hearing loss, consult a professional!

While not a true medical solution, Apple AirPods offer surprising functionalities for those with mild hearing loss. 

They're a handy, accessible way to boost everyday sounds and enrich your world.

1. Prepare a Study Guide:

• Add a key source to a notebook.  In my example, I uploaded a copy of Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.
• Tell NotebookLM to "prepare a study guide."
• NotebookLM generates a structured study guide complete with headings, subheadings, and bullet points. No more messy handwritten notes or endless highlighter fatigue!
• Boost Your Memory Muscle: Create flashcards directly from your summaries, complete with definitions and examples. 
• Test yourself and track your progress, all within NotebookLM.

2. Email Like a Pro:

• Add a key source to a notebook.  In my example, I uploaded a copy of Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.
• Draft engaging email newsletters using NotebookLM's new "Email Outline" feature. 
• Tell NotebookLM to "Prepare an email newsletter."
• Generate topic ideas, structure your content, and even personalize sections based on your audience.

• Add a key source to a notebook.  In my example, I uploaded a copy of Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address.
• Organize Your Thoughts with Ease.
• Tell NotebookLM to "prepare a thematic outline."
• Generate thematic outlines from any text source. Identify key themes, subthemes, and supporting arguments, creating a visual roadmap for your research or writing project.
• Connect the Dots: Use the thematic outline as a springboard for brainstorming related ideas and building a cohesive argument. No more information overload!

• Tap "Edit".
• In the edit menu, tap "Add Pronouns."
