The Visited Places feature in Apple Maps gives you a clean way to see where you have been and tidy up your history whenever you want.
Visited Places is part of Apple Maps on iOS 26.
It creates a private list of locations you have visited, such as restaurants, hotels, stores, parks, and client offices.
The information stays on your iPhone and does not sync to Apple servers.
You can browse the list, search it, correct entries, write notes, or delete anything you do not want stored. It acts as a personal travel log without the need for another app.
