Pinned Chats is a new organizational feature in ChatGPT that allows you to pin selected conversations so they stay at the top of your chat history. 

Instead of scrolling or searching, your most important chats remain visible and accessible.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Here's how to do it.

Web and Desktop

1. Open ChatGPT in your browser or desktop app (Windows / Mac).

3. Select the chat menu (three dots in top-right corner).
4. Select the pin option.
5. Confirm the chat now appears at the top of your list.
6. To Unpin: Select Unpin from the chat menu.

Mobile (iOS / Android)

1. Open the ChatGPT app.
2. Find the conversation in your chat list.
3. Long-press the conversation.
4. Tap Pin from the action menu.
