How to Delete Windows Clipboard Contents

Regularly clearing the clipboard ensures your sensitive data remains protected and your system runs smoothly.

Here's how to do it.

Using Clipboard History:
  1. Press Windows key + V to open the Clipboard history.
  2. Click the three dots (ellipsis) next to the item you want to delete.
  3. Select Delete from the menu.

Clear All Clipboard Data:
  1. In the Clipboard history window, click the Clear All icon to delete all items from the Clipboard history.

Using Windows Settings:
  1. Go to Settings > System > Clipboard.
  2. Click on the Clear button under Clear Clipboard Data.
