How to Use Gmail's Snooze Feature to Stay on Top of Your Inbox

Managing your email inbox can be a daunting task, especially when you have to sort through dozens, if not hundreds of emails every day. 

Fortunately, Gmail's snooze feature can help you stay on top of your inbox by allowing you to temporarily remove emails from your inbox and bring them back at a later time.

Here's how to do it.

  • Find the email that you want to snooze.
  • Hover over the far-right side of the subject line for the email in the Index.

  • Click on the snooze button, which looks like a clock icon, located at the right of the subject line. .
  • Choose when you want to snooze the email by selecting one of the preset options such as "Tomorrow," "This weekend," "Next week," or "Pick date & time."
  • If you choose the "Pick date & time" option, select the date and time when you want the email to reappear in your inbox.
  • Click on "Save" to confirm.

Once you snooze an email, it will disappear from your inbox and be archived. 

However, it will reappear in your inbox at the time you specified.

You can also find the Snooze clock at the top of an email when you open it.

How to Check Which Apps are Draining Battery on iPhone

Have you ever noticed when your iPhone battery drains faster than usual? 

If so, there's a high chance that some apps running in the background are the culprit. 

Here's the Cool Tip:
  • Check which apps are draining battery on your iPhone.
Here's how to check which iPhone apps are draining your batter:
  • Open Settings
  •  Tap on Battery
  • Check Battery Usage
  • Review the list of apps and the percentage of battery they've consumed in the last 24 hours or last 10 days. 
    • The list is arranged from the app that consumed the most battery to the one that consumed the least.
  • Identify Battery Hogging Apps
    • When you see an app that you rarely use or don't need, you may want to consider uninstalling it or limiting its background activity to save battery life.

  • Check Background Activity
    • Tap on any app in the list to see more details about its battery usage. This will show you the time the app spent on screen and the time it spent in the background.
Based on the battery usage details, you can decide whether to uninstall or limit the background activity of an app:
  • Go to the Settings app, scroll down to the app you want to limit, tap on it, and turn off the Background App Refresh option.

Did you know that there's a Cool Tip to insert links using a keyboard shortcut? 
    • Use Control + K as a keyboard shortcut to quickly insert a hyperlink address in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Here's how to do it:
  • First, highlight the text that you want to turn into a link.
  • Press the Control + K keys on your keyboard. 
    • This will open the Insert Hyperlink dialog box.
  • In the Address field, type or paste the URL of the website you want to link to.
  • Click OK to insert the link into your document.
