This year, they've resurrected the beloved "Magic Cat Academy" with a thrilling new twist. 

Ever wondered how to ward off virtual ghosts with the power of your fingertips?

The "Magic Cat Academy" is an interactive game where you help Momo, a cartoon cat, defend against waves of mischievous spirits. 

It first appeared in 2016, returned for a splash in 2020, and now, in 2024, it's back with an extraterrestrial adventure! 

This engaging Doodle isn't just fun; it's a clever way to  celebrate Halloween and introduce users of all ages to the magic of coding and problem-solving in a disguised format.

Here's how to do it.
  1. Open your web browser.
  2. Go to the front page of Google.com today (Halloween) or doodles.google/doodle/halloween-2024/.
  3. You'll see the animated Halloween Doodle featuring Momo the cat. 
  4. Click on the play button to start the game.
  5. A brief tutorial introduces you to the symbols you need to draw to defeat each ghost.
  6. As ghosts appear with symbols above their heads, quickly draw the corresponding symbol on your screen using your mouse or finger.
  7. Work your way through the levels, mastering new symbols and challenges, until you reach the final boss, Marshmallow the ghost.
